DNEye® Scanner 2+

Every measurement you need, in one device

Features of the DNEye® 2+ scanner

The innovative vision test for the most precise Rodenstock lenses

The Rodenstock DNEye® scanner is an important step towards the perfect spectacle lens. The subjective refraction you have undergone is supplemented by individual biometric data measured or determined using the DNEye® scanner. These biometric data include:

  • Lower and higher order aberrations for distance and near vision
  • Photopic pupil size and mesopic pupil size for distance and near vision
  • Corneal topography
  • Anterior chamber depth and vitreous depth
  • Lens power
  • Axial length of the eye
    • High-resolution wavefront analysis with pupillometry

    • Corneal topography integrated with tonometry and pachymetry

    • Objective measurements of distance and near refraction

    • Fully automatic measurement with real-time 3D eye tracking, independent of the operator

    • Detailed display of aberrations and simulation of visual performance

    • Data transmission to the nearest hundredth of a dioptre thanks to connection to WinFit® Reference software

Additional advantages

With the DNEye® 2+ scanner and its opacity, pachymetry and tonometry functions, your patients benefit from an additional advantage:

  • Opacity

    Opacity

Opacity of the ocular media is visualised using backlighting.

  • Pachymetry

    Pachymetry

Thanks to the Scheimpflug camera integrated into the pachymeter, it is possible to measure corneal thickness and provide a detailed analysis of the anterior chamber of the eye.

  • Tonometry

    Tonometry

Air-puff applanation tonometry, when combined with pachymetry, which determines corneal thickness, provides a more accurate and reliable result in determining intraocular pressure.
